About Me

As I mentioned, my name’s Scott and I’m studying to be a librarian. I transferred to UBC after earning my MA in English Literature at Simon Fraser University (big hop – just on the other side of town) so please forgive the odd digression and random Shakespeare quote you might find scattered throughout the postings on this blog. I’m currently a TM for SFU as well as Douglas College while working on my Master’s of Library Science degree, so in the free time I have when I’m not writing my own papers I usually tend to be marking other student’s essays (enter image of academic serpent eating its own tail). While I haven’t even really dabbled with blogging to any serious degree as yet, I’m starting to see the benefits of raising my head up from my coffee stained Hilroy pad to focus on my (sadly equally coffee stained) keyboard for jotting down my thoughts.
